SCIATICA SESSION
Available in 30' (Specific area)
Lumbosciatica, or lumbar radiculopathy, is a condition responsible for a characteristic pain that extends from the lower back and throughout the posterior portion of either lower extremity, including the foot.
Lumbosciatica arises as a result of compression of the sciatic nerve (or ischiatic nerve), compression that causes its irritation and inflammation. The sciatic nerve, or ischiatic nerve, is the largest and longest nerve in the human body.
It begins in the lower back and runs through the entire lower limb, ending at the level of the foot.
Belonging to the category of mixed nerves, it is a derivation of the last two lumbar spinal nerves (L4 and L5) and the first three sacral nerves (S1, S2 and S3): these nerve structures come together to form the sciatic nerve at approximately the level of the piriformis muscle and gluteus.
From the piriformis muscle and gluteus, the ischiatic nerve descends down the back of the thigh and, past the knee, branches into several branches.
Lumbar radiculopathy may be associated with neurological symptoms, such as tingling, numbness, and muscle weakness, all reported along the same painful area.
In most cases, history and objective examination are sufficient for the diagnosis of lumbosciatica; in fact, instrumental examinations are useful only in certain circumstances (e.g., when a well-specified cause is suspected and needs to be thoroughly investigated).
Specific session for sciatic pain is a treatment aimed at unblocking the hip and buttock area, targeted pressure and oil-free mobilisation will help resolve acute sciatic nerve pain for all chronic and non-chronic sufferers, pain that often leads to immobilisation of the leg or the inability to walk properly.
- Release deep tension of legs, buttocks, lower back.
- Release of endorfine
- Attempt to removal pain caused by tension of sciatica nerve
- Attempt to removal pain caused by tension of all lower body
- General revitalizing
